Those who visit El Paso, Texas for the first time always seem amazed by the beauty of the Franklin Mountains and the unique setting of the US-Mexico border.  Below are a series of photographs (taken by Dr. Meissner) depicting the UTEP campus, El Paso-Jaurez area, and several scenic venues (national parks, etc.) that are readily accessible from the city.
